Site colour and design
I’m wondering if the site design should be updated, I don’t think it’s been updated in 6+ years?
I’m just thinking whether t should be bought up to date to increase new users. |

Edwin, the site owner has it running on autopilot...I don't think he is into dedicating too much time and resources to this site.

I actually like this design. Very simple and clean. Just works. The one thing I would like to see is https.

This page's URL starts with "http" for me, as does the home page.

Interesting, so it doesn't redirect automatically? I frequently come here from links sent to me via email that tell me of a new post in a thread, and those links come with http. If I then browse around the site after reading that post and/or posting eveything is http.

I am glad HTTPS is not forced here as it isnt really needed and makes it harder for those of us on older browsers that cant connect to the new certs...
Bottom line ITS NOT NEEDED HERE!! |

IMHO https is mandatory these days, if for no other reason than it kills your search ranking to not have it. That might be one reason why there is so little traffic here these days. Also, crooks are always dreaming up new ways to steal stuff, making every extra bit of security useful.
