Forum in Runbox´s web

Wouldn´t it be better to Runbox to create a new forum in its website?. I think it would be more professional and all things at home.
Now I suppose that many people even don´t know there is a Runbox´s forum here, and it´s not very active.
Only my opinion.
As always I want to thank Runbox for such a great service.
Regards

Well janusz, I only see 5 threads here (well, 4 and mine)... the rest are sticky. That´s what I mean. Maybe it was longer before, I am new.
My apologies if I said something wrong.

Change your display options - you'll see a lot more.

He's right, this forum isn't very active compared to Fastmail. Only 5 threads in the last month isn't much.

Why is more threads better? We only need discussions of issues and, if there aren't any, there'll be no threads. No issues = no threads = good, in my book.

I don't know about others, but I often give up on busy forums as there's too much to keep up with. This one suits me just fine.

Good point filbert.
Anyway, what I wanted to say is that Runbox is a great email service and should have its own forum in its own website, I think it´s more professional according to Runbox´s image and its status, as it has the blog there too.
Regards

There are advantages to having the forum here rather than on our website. The main one is that you can be sure of impartiality.

We didn't set up the forum here and as such we have no control over what is posted. This is good for open discussion.

And a lot of more 'occasional' readers.

I don´t agree but it´s Runbox choice.
I think the forum will be in Runbox´s website in the future...
Thank you anyway.

That is actually a really good reason! You don't have admins right? But even if you do...

I think it's better to have the site here for various reasons, such as:

1. This is THE forum about e-mail providers.
2. It's good for business.
3. It's good for the users because it makes it easier for us to compare services.

That's correct. No admin rights or moderator rights. Apart from the "Representative of runbox.com" tag that you see next to our names (and we have to prove we are), our accounts are the same as yours.
