Name in Aliases
Hello,
When we sent email our name is sent on the outgoing message like "Name Surname <something@runbox.com>" When using Aliases the main setup Name/Surname is also sent. This can contradict the security of creating and using different aliases. It's possible to setup different Name/Surname per alias address? If not can it be implemented? Thank you |

Hello,
Yes, this can be done using profiles/identities. https://help.runbox.com/aliases-profiles/ In Runbox 7 we are making these even easier to set up and use |

Glad it does the the job needed. Profiles are based on the idea that you could use Runbox for all your incoming email, and use filters to automatically filter incoming messages to different folders.
The per folder preferences can then be used to reflect the properties of that incoming mail so that you could reply using the same details. It's logical, but not necessarily how people use identities in email programs. This is why we are going to update this with Runbox 7 as mentioned. |
