This sounds quite exciting, Geir. The web interface has definitely stood the test of time and is still as useable as it always has been but I'm interested to know more about what is coming. Sounds like 2017 is going to be a big year for Runbox!

Thumbs up The Running Mailbox!

I started the thread to know just a bit about the future pricing but couldn't reply in timely manner to participate in discussion. I am happy++ to find such great replies, particularly a confident relation between a service provider and its vast number of users.

I'll +1 and quote Orchard here to sum up my thoughts. This week I'll still be stuck in a corporate manhole, though.

Runbox is highly relevant in my online world, across my entire business (several clients), and I look forward to using them for many years to come, possibly to the end of my career if they keep up the great work they are doing!
Runbox is very important for me and my family. Everyone working at/with Runbox just saved my digital home last year. I do not blame my x-provider (FastMail). They just did what suited the best to their business.

Cheers Runbox, Keep Running!

It would be nice to have an answer to post #15 of this thread, namely:

- Is there a time-frame for the new webclient?
- Is there a beta?

The project involves innovation in cutting edge technology so it's difficult to estimate a time-frame, but we're currently running a very basic version in an early alpha internally and it's very exciting. We're aiming for a closed beta when all the basic functionality is in place.

I'm glad to hear that. The webclient is the only thing keep me at my current email provider. As soon as Runbox offers a new one, I'll move there (unless it's a bad webclient).

Will it work without javascript?. Few email services are offering it nowadays and I would be interested if javascript is not necessary.

+1

Simple HTML all the way! At least as an option.

Why don't you get user feedback up front to inform development?

Hello -

I'm currently exploring different webmail options, as I'd like to escape from Google's vile clutches. I've seen several comments here that suggest Runbox is expensive. Well, maybe--except that Runbox charges $80 for 15 GBs versus roughly USD $200 for Kolab Now.

Best regards,
Brian

Runbox, simply the best! Sub-account feature dominates the company over any other service provider.

Hi Geir (or anyone)- really would like to see the new interface, as I'm busy deciding what to do with my longterm email plans. Have you got any further yet? Thanks!
