Totally confused re: contact syncing
Hi,
If I add a contact in the FM web interface, it does not add to the FM iOS app. If I add a contact in the FM iOS app, it does not add to the web interface. Using carddav, if I add a contact to the native iOS contact app, it DOES add to the web interface and to the FM iOS app. I understand carddav is still incomplete/buggy, etc. but I had figured that all syncing between the web interface and the Fastmail iOS app would be seamless and error free at this point no? |

There is a suspicion that recent changes may have introduced serious bugs in this area. What you are seeing may well be other symptoms of the issue some are experiencing described in this thread.

I am still around
Since I last posted, I upgraded to a business plan. If I understand correctly, carddav doesn't work with business plans to begin with so I haven't even tried. I've been looking out for Robn's (hopefully shortly upcoming) post announcing it works for business accounts. J |
