double messages

Hi I'm an Enhanced fastmail user and using MS Vista OS with Windows Mail via pop to access my E-mail, but lately I’ve been getting 2 copies of every message from fastmail account into my Windows mail, does anyone know how to stop this? So I have only 1 copy of each message into Windows Mail.

Is this happening on messages sent to you by others (incoming email), or on outgoing mail (your saved copy of what you are sending)?

Another question. Are these copies coming in at the same time or a second copy comes in when next checking your email? Also, do you have any rules to move email to certain folders that is copying them instead of moving them or are all copies in the same folder?
