Old messages - Can I auto-delete them?

Is there a way to get Runbox to auto-delete older messages (anything more than 6 months old, for example)?

Taken from this page:

Reminder: Deletion of old messages from Trash
As notified earlier we will now start deleting messages that have been stored in your Trash folder for more than one month.

If you do not want old messages automatically deleted from Trash after one month, please set the "Automatically empty Trash" option to "No" on the Account screen.

So to answer your question: you can get Runbox to auto-delete messages but only from your trash folder.

I've had "Automatically empty Trash" set to Yes for some time. September to be exact. And my trash Folder is called Trash... but all the messages are still there... nothing has ever been deleted.
