mlevin: we can't tell when they were done so easily - but you can use the self-service Restore command to get all the emails you've deleted in the past week - which you can then copy back everything you want from.

Thanks - for some reason I recalled there being a charge for that...?

take your wife out for dinner is always good advice
(should be done within an hour says the status blog - quicker if you're early in the alphabet... the fixup commands run alphabetically - but actually it's more to do with luck of being on the right store that has fewer masters on its disks, so runs faster) |

mlevin: super old news. A couple of years ago I ran the numbers on the amount we actually made from that service vs the cost of having support people deal with the requests, and convinced people we were better off making it free and self-triggerable.

zombie folders
I don't know if this is a related problem, but along with the way-over-quota glitch, I noticed something else weird when I fired up my email client (Thunderbird) this morning.
In addition to the expected folders, it displayed more than 2 dozen folders -- all empty and italicized -- that I deleted months or years ago. I don't see the same zombie folders when I log into the webmail interface. Anyone else see this? |

I have the same problem as jfinlayson and was in the middle of creating a thread. Thunderbird v3.1.8, don't see the deleted folders on other IMAP clients or the webmail interface.

I was about to make the same comment--my file sizes seem to be fixed, but every folder I ever had is now listed in Thunderbird, italicized and greyed out.
Support ticket ID 23861, if it helps. |

Yeah - I rolled back a way and found a version with an LSUB bug. Actually, Thunderbird probably shouldn't display them, but I will fix that one up in a sec.
Just don't want to break anything else, so I'm going careful here... |

Fixed and rolled out. Thunderbird folders should be fixed. You may need to disconnect and reconnect to get the updated folder list.

That fixed folders in the inbox. level. Any idea how to get rid of the extra subfolders?
