Looks good so far! For the advanced features you need to send a postcard to the owner Neat activation procedure if you ask me. The postcards are showcased on the site. I have registered and will be sending out my card soon.

Is it just me or does "nic nac wdyn de" sound like the lyric to a silly song you can't get out of your head? As in "This Old Man:"

"With a nick nack paddy wack give your dog a bone.
This old man came rolling home."

(Sorry, everyone can get back on topic now.)

Best wishes,
David P.

This old man, he played one, he played nick-nack on my thumb with a nicknackpaddywack, give a dog a bone, this old man came rolling home...

This old man, he played two, he played nic.nac on my shoe with a nicknackpaddywack, give a dog a bone, this old man came rolling home.

There was a time when I knew all the things he played nick-nack on, with the right numbers. I think seven was 'he played nicknack up in heaven' and eight was a gate. Three was knee.. four was door. Five I can't remember. Six was sticks. Nine was spine. Ten was 'played nicknack once again'. Gee, I remember them! Except for five :-/

Does anybody know what's driving the people behind the service. I'm missing an about page, with some more detailed about information other than what's mentioned on the front page...

I'm no export on such systems, but nic-nac looks like a private/personal/small scale http://freeshell.org/ initiative...

That's the idea that I got too... I think they just want to offer shell access to people... don't ask why, though :-/
