Poll feature change?

Apologies for being a newbie here. I just noticed that the poll feature no longer provides 15 minute polling, only 30 or 60 minutes (at the Member level). I greatly prefer 15. Why the change?

There was a thread about this recently. Apparently allowing members 15 minute polling was an error because it's now been adjusted correctly to reflect the information during signup:

I'd STRONGLY recommend FastCheck. It's a wonderful program that allows for (nearly.. <cough> FromLine) immediate notifcation of new mail in multiple folders.

Thanks! It was a nice error, while it lasted.

It was mentioned here.

Maybe it was my fault to point to this possibility and thus make developers eliminate it?

P.S. This post is supposed to promote me to the Cornerstone of the Community.

Congratulations on becoming the corner stone of the community.

(If you point out an error, they will probably eliminate it... )

I actually like "Senior Member" the best. "Senior" sounds a lot more official than "Essential".

Yeah, until one looks at the number of posts.

I dunno. 100-200 posts seems like someone is being helpful. 500+ posts sounds like you need to get out more.

In my case, since I have my access at a cybercafé off Trafalgar Square (about 3 miles from home), I probably need to get out less...

What do you have to say about Jeremy Howard's 8200+ posts then?

Yep, that's the one — I wonder if we met each other?
