Fastmail web interface Mac Safari 'reconnecting to server' after few minutes of sleep

This problem started few days back;

While working on new interface of Fastmail. If the computer goes to sleep mode for 10+ minutes Fastmail looses connection to its servers and never reconnects, no matter how much time I wait.

Only solution is to exit Safari, open it again and go to my Fastmail account. All other web pages opened in tabs work properly after wake up.

Anyone faced this problem and found a solution to it?

I run FastMail on both Firefox and Safari and haven't had this issue. This likely isn't the problem but are you checking "Keep me logged in" on the login screen?
