Talking Balls!!!

Late arrivals at, to be precise...

(Well, if MAILfreak can post a thread based on the BBC's comedy quiz I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, why shouldn't I? )

Let's start with... Late arrivals at the Rockers' Ball!

Mr. & Mrs. Theskywithdiamonds, and their son, Lucian...
Mr. & Mrs. Youneedislove, and their son, Al...
Mr. & Mrs. Likehell, and their son, Ron...

You get the idea.

Isn't that off-topic for The Off-Topic Lounge, being as it is about e-mail?

It's certainly off-topic for this thread...

Johns' mother was Chinese and his father was Indian on the way to the ball they were tragically killed in a motor accident
so, when he arrived he was asked what his name was and he said...

John, I'm the only Wang-Sing.

Dreadful...

This is a wild off topic post! Everybody Wang Chung tonight! Of course you know that the original post was highly suggestive.

This is a story I ready in Reader's Digest several years ago:

A woman gave her boss a phone message that said "Hair dryer will arrive at the airport 5:00 next Thursday." He was trying to not to laugh.

A few days later she saw him in his office and a very distinguished gentleman was there also. He said, "Melissa, I'd like you to meet Herr Dreyer."
