i just had a whole string of "fastmail outages"... what the heck?

experienced this just a few minutes ago.

ok, it's a minor irritation. Everything still works, once i refresh.. but.. hey what the heck?

something like 3 in a row? anybody experienced this?

Location: FM does NOT refer to Fastmail (anymore).

Not yet, but my fastmail homepage just took ages to load here... over a minute even on broadband.. don't understand what's going on. I should be on server2, (previously 5), Jeremy, Rob, can you guys take a look?

Since the migration all functions have been slow and getting slower, despite my being on a T1 line most of the time.

Running a traceroute to fastmail.fm may reveal where network delays are. Routing to the new datacenter has changed twice for me since the migration and is relatively poor right now.
