Filter emails feature? (dropdown)

Hi,

I was just using a search on "All folders" and by accident I used Ctrl+Shift and clicked on one of the check boxes for the mail. (I am using FF 7, Win XP)

It then showed a new row (similar to Autofilter in MS Excel) for each field.
I could actually filter the results based on any field (From, Subject, Date.. etc)

Is this a feature? If everyone knows about this.. ? I just discovered it ..

Please click the Advanced link below the search box. Is this the screen you are describing? It has been there for a very long time.

No its not the advanced search page..
I checked and it works on most pages..

Just do Ctrl+Shift and click on any message checkbox and new row will appear..

No, I don't see this. Here is what I'm trying per your instructions:
  • Log into account at http://www.fastmail.fm (not old or beta).
  • In the Mailbox Search box, enter a search term and check All, then click the search button. The search results are listed by folder.
  • Hold the Ctrl+Shift keys both down and click any selection box for a message (in the column to the left of the From column and to the left of the attachment and flag columns).
  • This causes a range of messages from the first one to the checked one to be selected, since the shift key causes multiple messages to be selected and the Ctrl key seems to do nothing.
Is this precisely what you are doing? Exactly what do you see? Can you copy and post a screen capture here?
