Question Weird question

I don't really understand any of this.
I have a Ikonboard forum set up on a free Netfirms account. My Ikonboard needs a SMTP server to send mail, but Netfirms doesn't supply that. I have a CJB.net directory service, but I don't know if that will help me or not. What do I use as a SMTP server? Is there any free smtp servers? Once again I don't really understand this but I hope someone can help me.
This is the info Ikonboard needs:
incoming e-mail address
outgoing e-mail address
send mail using: SMTP or Sendmail
e-mail content: text or html
Smtp server if using smtp
sendmail path if using sendmail

Please post some solutions to my problem, thank you for you time.
(sorry Edwin I didn't know I should of posted it here)

You don't need an SMTP server if you use Sendmail. The path is on the Netfirms FAQ Advanced features page.

Sendmail Location
/usr/lib/sendmail

Good Luck
