Fix giving out wrong email?
I typed in the wrong email address recently on a resume that I have already handed out, after realizing my mistake I created a new email account with the same username. Will the emails that anyone may have sent before I created this email still be received?

No. They would be undeliverable.

Welcome to the EMD Forums!
As already noted, they would be treated as undeliverable. In most cases, the sender's email system will send them a message with a subject similar to "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender" if the destination address can't be reached. So anyone with that original resume might have discarded it since your email address bounced. If the destination address exists on the delivery email system but there is a temporary problem delivering the message, in most cases the email servers will continue trying to deliver the message for a while (maybe 48 hours or so) before giving up. In your case it appears that you gave out an address which was not valid on the delivery system, so that would create a permanent delivery failure which would not cause a retry. Bill |

The email was undeliverable, so you didn't get the job. 😬
