Sentbox and Outbox
What’s the difference between them?
Do they mean the same stuff? Thanks. |

Probably depends on the application.
IIRC, when you send a message using Outlook it goes into the Outbox until the mail server actually sends it, and then it moves to the Sent folder. So the Outbox is a bit like a buffer. (This is particularly noticeable if you set up delayed send as in most cases it is probably sent so quickly that you wouldn't notice.) When using Fastmail's 'Scheduled Send' the Scheduled folder seems to be used like an Outbox folder. |
