I'd get rid of the BIG ORANGE ARROW.
Actually, I'd get rid of all the orange color. Why orange? Or dark orange? Or goldenrod? Whatever it is? It's was OK as "trim" but I think you've got too much now. Rich |

Thanks for all your feedback so far!
We'll do some changes over the next few days, and surely incorporate some of your suggestions. Trip: I don't have the graphics files available right now - I can send them as soon as I do. I'll be interested in seeing what you come up with! Rich: Hmph, you never seemed to have had a problem with the orange arrow before! We're trying to spice up the service a little; perhaps we used too much orange. The other templates won't be that colorful anyway, as we definitely want to retain our clean, conservative, and professional look. - Geir |

The new one makes me think of all those construction signs around here (it's that time of year again ... we have two seasons, winter and construction). Rich |

Yes I like the new design a lot.
Presumably this new design scheme would be used not just on the home page but across the website - including a new look to all our accounts. Just two slight criticisms (other's will probably disagree, just my persoanl opinion). 1) I don't like the runbox logo in the top left hand corner - the white square doesn't look right on the the white background - I like to top right hand corner though - I like the new slogan "The Original Premium Email Service. 2) I don't like the testomonials on the homepage - I think they look corney and cheesey. Comments such as “It makes managing email so much easier.” - W.M, USA - would not entice me to purchase the product. But with that said I like the new look a lot - well done :-) DaJaTa |

I agree with BLuRReD, the mobile phone picture looks a little tacky.
Don't use the phrase ads-free, it doesn't make sense, nor is correct English. Just Ad-Free would do. I like the orange, it shouldn't be a main colour, but it needs little to break up the blue. The roll-overs on the links in our accounts turn Orange. The testimonials are cheesey, I agree. I've always thought it looks bad on Fastmail's index, don't follow suit! I like the little 3-cube logos next to 'Price Plans' and 'Testimonials' though. Aside from that, it looks brilliant. And yeah, the page doesn't load in Mozilla correctly. |

Those with Mozilla troubles try going to the page then holding down shift and clicking reload. I think there is a cached stylesheet somewhere causing the problem and this should solve it.

Heya Geir,
Thanks for the graphics, css, and html files. I am on my way to a new rendition for the login page. I think you're gonna love it! Trip |

My first reaction to the new front page was that it's hideous and unprofessional -- but since most other comments were positive, and somebody had mentioned that there were problems with Mozilla, I took a look at it in IE (Netscape is my browser of choice and I use IE only when absolutely necessary.)
Now that I see it the way it's meant to look, I like it! I hope that when you launch the new design, you will first have ensured that it displays properly in Netscape. |
