cannot connect ... mail fails to pop

I've done something wrong that prevent thunderbird to download each five minute.

I've set up the PPPoE RAS ? or something else to connect?
maybe I made a duplication without knowing or changed a service?

Error 756

Cannot connect the phonebook entry.
This connection is already dialed.

several of these comes up and only if you delete them then my thunderbird do a pop of email.

what could it be that i've done wrong?
