Question regarding size of the buttons

I used to have a runbox account and was dissatisfied with the minature size of the buttons on the webface ( Delete, Send, Inbox etc. ) Have these been enlarged or displayed in Bold Type yet ? Yes I know these are minor items but important to me.

At this time there has been no change with the size of button or link in the web interface.

Buttons in webmail

We are working on a redesign of webmail now and this is one of the things that we will try to improve.

Wow, interesting. Runbox is (finally) getting an overhaul?

Ajax first, then design

So far we have come the furthest with the Ajax part (including threaded folders) of the webmail.

The design part we want to keep internal a bit more before we show anything to the commmunity.

If anyone have suggestion, we really would like to welcome any feedback or examples of things you like.

My old favorite suggestion: User selectable date format. I want mm/dd/yyyy. I think that other folks should have whatever they are used to, so a Preferences choice would be great. After all these years of requesting it, I suspect this will be given the same SOP. But I can dream.

User selectable Interface colors / skins would be nice... I used to just load Runbox with my user prefs, but the new top menus move everything down the page when I do that now...

Otherwise, my only other suggestion is to make sure and make "improvements" to the interface optional. I.e. If you decided to list emails horizontally instead of vertically as long as it is optional to do so, feel free. Same with colors etc.

selectable date format

"selectable date format" is something that we have added to the list and it wont be a feature you have to wait long for

Regarding your other thoughts, we will try to make as many changes optionable, but there is a limit to that too.

The new AJAX webmail is already an option where it is very easy to revert between the two.

1. Read/delivery receipt request option please (can be set as "yes" for all messages by a setting)

2. High/low priority option

3. Speed is important

4. Perhaps you can let me alpha test it, I will make more suggestions

Hmm - I'd quite like the interface to automatically update itself every minute or so. Maybe you can make the window flash (ie using "window.focus()") when a message comes in? I guess it'll make web usage more intensive, but might save on people doing a full screen update....

And of course that needs to be user configurable. I'm sure I'm not the only one that doesn't want their webmail window popping to the front every time it gets new mail.

Rich

Allow external filtering of email that can then be delivered to RB's MX.

How would/does the "External Filtering" work?
