Mine is fine all day.

You can try to use the ip address instead of www.runbox.com

IP address: http://193.71.199.74

By the way Liz, the link in the following post won't work because of the hyphen at the end...

Still Down in South Texas

Hi Liz,
Runbox is not working where I am.
My ISP is swbell.net
I use Opera 5.1 but have problems accessing from IE as well. Some times it works but ustually It cant connect or find the server.
The mail2web connection seems to work. I tested it yesterday by sending an email from another email account. The message got through.

Yes, the browser won't matter. What I recommend, is asking your ISP if they provide a proxy server for you to connect through? Or if you have dialup, if they have an alternate access number you can call.

I'm not sure how that would work, but I'll try to get in touch with them. Thanks

I'm not sure either, but it might have the same effect as using a different ISP alltogether (chances are good that you won't encounter two local ones who have this problem, at the same time...)

OK now

Never heard back from my ISP. Runbox is working OK now. It also seems to be faster!

It's 8:33 am CST.

Hi Liz,
I haven't had any problem getting to the sites at all from S.C. Wisconsin, USA. BUT I cannot download my email for the past 12 hours. It conects to the server and starts a download then fails.
I've even tried different configurations with my account settings.

An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'boiab@runbox.com', Server: 'pop.runbox.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800C013A

I can loggin and read the mail but this is just getting to be a real pain. any suggestions?

As you can see I did some testing with the configurations, but no success.

Try to change the pop3 server name from pop.runbox.com to 193.71.199.139. Temporary solution, of course.

Yes. 193.71.199.39 should work, if pop.runbox com doesn't...
