I use Web mail. So I voted "Other". After years of using mail clients, I switched totally to Web mail 7 months ago. I use my personal domain with Google Apps and have consolidated all my email to my Google Apps account. I don't miss my email desktop client at all.

I mostly use my Smartphone for email these days. The days when everyone used a client (or Webmail) are fast fading away imo.

I use pop peeper. It is an email client/email notifier.

It is a real simple program with lots of support available at their forums.

I have used other email clients but I keep going back to pop peeper.

I use Eudora and Outlook Express.

In many ways Outlook Express is better than Eudora. I feel that IMAP works better. I use it if I'm creating a "fancy" e-mail with colours and background sound. It's generally easier to work with.

However, I voted for Eudora. I use it more. I prefer the search and filter capabilities.
It's especially good for filtering or searching on those hidden headers. This is very useful for accounts with aliases, or where there is auto-forwarding.

In Outlook Express, you have to mark all messages as read, or it can be difficult to figure out where new messages are. Eudora opens a new folder window, so it's right there. This is also handy for working on more than one folder at a time.
[addendum]
Also Eudora has a filter report, so you can see where your filters sent the messages. You can close the folder, and, during the same session, click on the entry in the filter report to re-open it.

I'm currently using MailPlane with my GoogleApps Account. Otherwise, I have my preferred IMAP client PostBox also installed.

However, prior to switching to the Mac platform, The Bat! was my preferred client.

For e-mail clients, the user experience with Apple Mail.app is really good. I have and do use several: Apple Mail is the one that I prefer. My second choice is ThunderBird and last is Outlook, which I'm required to use for work. For Webmail I prefer Gmail with LuxSci and Tuffmail's Dynamic IMP 4.2 both close seconds.
