Google Apps Grandfathered Legacy Account Question

I have a domain name registered - let's call it originaldomain.org - that I've had for some years now.

With this domain I have a Google Apps Grandfathered Legacy Account (50-user).

I've not had much use for this account over the years, and as we all know, various changes have happened over the years to make the account less useable.

However, I've been experimenting with adding a "domain alias" to the account - let's call it domainalias.com.

I've succeded in adding the domain alias, along with amending/adding MX/SPF/DKIM records.

I can now send and receive e-mails for domainalias.com from users with a originaldomain.org account.

There is one problem I cannot get past, is that when I've sent a test e-mail using a domainalias.com e-mail address, it is showing as "Sent by originaldomain.org" and "Signed by domainalias.com"

The e-mails have been received without any problem, not flagged as spam, etc.

Have I missed something somewhere, or is this the best I can get?

I believe that is the case for aliases with Google Workspace accounts. From Google https://support.google.com/a/answer/...ondary-domains

You can add secondary domains but then you need to upgrade to paid Google Workspace, and you would have to pay for accounts for each user at the secondary domain.

Yes, I'm aware that secondary domains incur upgrade/additional charge, but I'm talking about domain aliases.
