Are you using winzip? Or perhaps that zip file isn't the compression file we are familar with.

Very strange, perhaps it actually is empty and you did not zip it properly, maybe try to extract it and zip it all over again!!
If it is still in your received files or dwnloads, just do it all over again, from scratch and simply delete the other file later. To check if it is actually empty, right click on the file and check the size of it in properties! Susan. |

That's strange. I don't know if my problem is the same, but something's a little askew for me as well.
I chose 2 files from my file storage, downloaded them as a zip file, then opened the downloaded file. The detail inside the zip file shows 2 entries, but neither of the entries has a file name! When I download one file from file storage by right clicking on it and not by using the zip feature, the system works as expected. Can the FM team have a look? |

I would think it is probably due to something at our end. Could you send in a support request.

File storage is a one way street?
No matter whether I try zipping one or two files, in either of two accounts, if I try to zip files the archive contains no listing of files when I open it. Downloading files is only possible one at a time. This thing seems broken on the FM side, IMO.
Additionally, if it is HTML it must be renamed to avoid browser execution because clicking it executes it. I'm wanting an action that would "download these individual files". The result is that I've got a website in storage that can't be copied back to local without renaming the files |

Just tested this, and works fine for me. Could you send in a support request? Please mention the folder for which you are seeing the problem and I'll check.

I've had problems uploading/unzipping zips in the past. Had it a few times with download too. I wonder if it has something to do with the amount of files more than the size. It's hard to see what's up with someone else's issue, but I thought I'd give it a stab.

An update for you all
I have a ticket going with Kurian on this still, and we've found a difference between Fastmail and Winzip file contents.

I've upgraded our Zip library and done a test - the result worked fine in Winzip, but was not displayed correctly in XP's built-in compress-folder view.
Is it working for you in Winzip and Winrar now? We'll try to fix the XP compressed-folder support, although that might not be easy. |

FWIW I've just done a test with 7-Zip with no problems.
