Having Fun!!!
This is proved that very seniors do forget small tings and then forget to find them back, the way they once told others.

When you reach the seniors age as you say, the mind starts failing, but you don't realise its happening. Although I'm not senior yet, I'm finding as the years go by, I seem to have odd moments when logic seems to abandon me at times. Example, I'll go looking for something in a room, but when I get to the room, I'll then think, what have I come in here for, and what am I looking for.
