Does lycos support POP3 or IMAP?

I have a free lycos.com email account of 5Mb disk space and am trying to fuse it with my main account in Fusemail. But I am unable to do so.

It seems as if Lycos does not support POP3 or IMAP. But if it does, please tell me so and also give me the following information---

POP3 Hostname or IP Address: ?

Regards,
Yash Rungta.

Lycos.com does not have POP3 nor IMAP access. If you want to be notified of emails, you can use a mail notifier like PopPeeper.

If you want to download Lycos emails to an email client, use Freepops. The latest mail.com plugin will download lycos.com emails.

Free Lycos.com does not have POP, "Lycos Mail Plus" does.

btw, Lycos UK does have http (webdav) and a 300MB mailbox.

I don't use Lycos.com e-mail anymore, but I do use the Tripod.com and Angelfire.com webpages. The mailbox will expire if you don't use it, even if you use other aspects of a Lycos.com account.

fastmail.fm allows to retrieve hotmail (httpmail) but not lycos.co.uk,
is there any other webmail around being able to retrieve httpmail (webdav)?

Lycos.co.uk uses httpmail to retrieve its own emails, not Hotmail. Other European Lycos companies allow httpmail access. Caramail and Spray.se allow httpmail access.

Hmm, maybe I didn't explain myself good enough

Fastmail.fm allows to retrieve hotmail automatically
Fastmail.fm doesn't allow to retrieve lycos.co.uk

Is there any other email-provider (webmail) which has the possibility of retreive httpmail (hotmail or lycos.co.uk) ?
I prefer not to use any email-client or software on my PC.

I don't know of any such webmail service. Looks like no one else has answered either.

If you mean that you need your webmail retrieved on a continuous automatic basis, as fastmail.fm does, then I can't think of any others offhand which have that feature. Otherwise, although I haven't tried it myself, gawab.com purports to be able to retrieve (only "manually", I assume) from any of the following webmail services (up to a maximum of three accounts, including any POP3 or IMAP accounts):

hotmail.com
msn.com
lycos.co.uk
lycos.ch
lycos.de
lycos.es
lycos.it
lycos.at
lycos.nl
spray.se

yes, that's what I ment, thanks

too bad gawab has it only manually

I see the limit of max three accounts written, but I could install even more without problems, there's no blockage
