Alright, the upgrade has been completed and everything works.

We are compiling the Changelog right now..but as you will notice, there have been a LOT of changes that you guys requested over the previous months.

Among the biggest.. yes, we now support z-push2 which brings HTML over Activesync.

On *SOME* devices, you might have to remove the account and add it up again. On ALL devices you will be prompted to accept a new security policy. This is all normal and part of the updated ActiveSync protocol.

We also upgraded to SabreDAV 1.8.4 which should fix some issues present with the latest Apple software.

More coming, stay tuned.

Hi George, everything seems to be far more responsive than before. I will test ActiveSync and SabreDAV tonight. Good work!

Yes, we also made some speed improvements in the UI.

One major (to me anyway ) issue is the date columns in the email grid don't use the date format setting. I have my date format set to Month/Day/Year and the grid shows dates as Day/Month/Year. This is likely a big problem for users in the US.

- Added full timestamp to the Date columns
- Added 'All Folders' to the search options
- Added new 'Compose on page' option when composing messages
- Added option to 'Unmark as Spam' in the Spam folder
- Added option for showing 100/200/500 rows in the grid
- Added reply/reply all/forward in the context menu
- Overall UI speed improvement
- Fixed various calendar-related bugs

Thanks George. Some issues I've found:

1. Date Received column in email grid - Recieved is misspelled.

2. Compose on page doesn't work well with right pane view. It changes setting to no pane.

3. Date columns in email grid don't use date format settings. They are currently Day/Month/Year.

4. Setting max number of rows to 200 only shows 127 messages and sets the value to 127 when you go back into Settings->Look & Feel. Setting max number of rows to 500 gives error (The maximum number of rows in lists is too high (max 50)) when clicking ok to save in Settings->Look & Feel.

When I manually mark a message "unread", the folder name is not bold.
When I read a message, the the folder name stays bold although there is no more unread message in the folder.

Although I show folders with unread messages in bold, all the email messages inside do not show as bold. Even if I mark a message as 'unread' it still has the unbolded appearance of being 'read'.

Great list of changes, George!

Looks like this has now been fixed too.

P.S. I noticed the bold is now blue instead of black.

Following some changes we made this weekend again, you might need to reinstall the account one more time. It will report "Connection unavailable" or something similar otherwise.

2. In your browser, go to your webmail's URL.
For example, for all @polarismail.net users it's:

add "modules/carddav/addressbook.php" at the end of the URL so it becomes:

If your domain is: joe.com, your URL would be :

3. Open that URL in your browser and enter your account credentials

4. Click on addressbooks, click on your e-mail address and there you will see your addressbooks. Usually you only have one so right click on it and select: "Copy URL" or "Copy Link Address"

This will be your CardDAV URL!!
I know it's a bit complicated for now, but we will simplify this procedure in the days to come. For example, the URL to my Addressbook is:

5. In Thunderbird, go to Addressbook -> New Addressbook -> Remote addressbook
Give it a name and enter the URL from step #4, making sure you have a trailing / at the end

6. Right click on your new Addressbook and select 'Synchronize'. It will ask for your username & password so enter them again.

7. Voila, your contacts are now synced!

8. Yes, we will make this easier
Has anyone been successful in setting up CardDAV via PolarisMail? I just purchased 3 licenses for eMClient and am trying to get my contacts setup. I got CalDAV sestup and working just fine using these instructions from PolariMail's Wiki, but I see nothing for CardDAV.

When I follow George's instructions on setting up the CardDAV URL, the URL comes back with an error, like it is not a correct URL, so I never get prompted for my credentials.

Any direction or suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

P.S. I've also emailed Polaris Support, but I haven't heard back from them yet.

EDIT: I heard back from PolarisMail support and they helped me get CardDAV setup. I suggest if you are having problems you contact support@polarismail.com so they can assist you as well. (Thanks George!)

Had another small update over the weekend. Fixed a bunch of z-push2 related bugs and also added a new tab in the calendar module in order to easily get the proper URLs for CalDAV.

Simply go to: Calendar -> Administration -> double click on your calendar -> Access URLs

we'll add one shortly for CardDAV as well

Small update from us:

- updated Roundcube to version 0.9

- increased message loading speed in Enhanced. Messages should now appear almost-instantaneously. Let me know if you notice the speed increase
