URL To Compose Page

Hi there,

I'm trying to use Greasemonkey and Platypus (two firefox extensions that let you monkey around with page layouts and functions) to customise my Compose page.

To do this i need to enter the URL of the Compose page for the scripts to know which page to work their magic on. However it seems the Compose Page URL carries a lot of extra info that changes each time.

I can use wildcards to get a range of URLs...

http://www.speedpost.net/beta/*

...which would catch anything from there on - but that actually causes some problems as it's too general, so i need to focus on the compose page only.

Is there a basic URL which is the same each time?

r.

And a side question: Can anyone shed light on what all the strings in the URL mean?

I can

It's all about 2 things mainly. State and actions.

Things like this:
SMB-MF-DI=25

Hold state about the screen (eg Mailbox screen, Message form sub-screen, Display items = 25)

This:
Ust=60024501!35db41ae

Holds a unique identifier for each session, so you can have multiple logged in sessions at the same time in different windows.

This:
MSignal=MR-**266490

Is the action to perform (eg goto the Message read screen to message id 266490)

Obviously there's a whole bunch of bits and pieces to get it all to hold together. Unfortuanately our framework makes putting together custom URLs a bit tricky, but what you probably want is just something like:

http://www.fastmail.fm/mail/?MSignal=MC-*
