A Stylus Code To Always Show E-Mail Details

If you would prefer to always have email details visible, instead of clicking the "show details" button, add this code to your stylus sheet:

.v-Message-details {
height:auto !important;
}
.v-MessageCard-toggleDetails {
display:none !important;
}

Thanks for this. Where can I find my FastMail stylus sheet? I'm not seeing it in FM Preferences.

Are you referring to a browser-based CSS file of some kind?

Stylus is a browser extension, available for several browsers. Be aware, if you use it, that your Stylus controls may break when FastMail makes layout changes. For those who are picky about the user interface, Stylus can be useful, but it is not supported by FastMail.

Thank you, BritTim. Makes sense now.

Hmm... I think I'll pass on the browser extension and try to keep things simple here. I'll revert to Classic theme, as having those perpetual email header details appear is more important to me than the dark background.

If you are using the "Classic" theme then you won't need to use my code.
