Email with notification service

Hello everyone, this is my first post.
Looking for a particular email account I came across this interesting forum from whom I learned some interesting things.

I still need some advice.
I am looking for an email account that has the following characteristics:

a) Free
(I'm stingy

)

b) Very reliable
(My email will contain data from my bank accounts, total, movements, contracts, etc.. I do not want to get my bank accounts emptied

)

c) Stable and fast
(The information must always reach me immediately and I want to get into my account as I want)

d) Have the notification service
(When I get an email from my bank or from my friends want it to be sent a notification email on my work account. A notification, not the copy of the email, forwarding is not required because the administrator of my email work could read my mail)

e) Few spam, zero is better.

There is an email like this?

Nearest I can think of for those requirements is a Guest account with FastMail.

Of course, as Guest accounts are now no longer offered, you'll have to pay.

It's your notification requirement that's difficult or impossible to get for free. I can't think of a free service that does that. Maybe someone else knows of one.
Gmail (with optional 2 factor authentication) does everything you ask except for the notification, although you can set up desktop notifications, but you need to use Chrome and have it open. I don't know if that will be satisfactory at your work.
Some of the paid services have notifications, even SMS/TXT notifications based on rules. That would meet your requirements nicely, but the services that have that feature are not free.

Hushmail does it. But the space/inactivity time is very less.

P.S. You may do one thing. Use Gmail as primary. Forward all mails to hushmail. Set up notification in Hushmail.

AOL will send an alert on new mail to AIM or your mobile phone for no charge.

The only thing there is the free Hushmail storage is 25mb !!

Forwarding all Gmail there automatically might fill up that quota awfully quickly, depending on Pippo's volume of incoming/forwarded mail.

Pippo,
How about just reading your personal email on your mobile device while at work? You can get a notification of new messages by that means.

Can't see this option in my AOL/AIM e-mail account - is it country dependent?

It's under Mail Settings > Filters and Alerts in my AOL account. However, as there doesn't seem to be another country code offered other than for the U.S., unfortunately it appears that it is country dependent.

Husmail is interesting but, beyond the 25Mb and the 3 weeks of inactivity, Hushmail is reliable? Who are they?

AOL doesn't send messages to my italian phone.

I could solve this: when there is a notification on my work account, I log into Hushmail read the email and then I delete it. The original email remains in the inbox of my email (Gmail).

I tried the russian Yandex.com
The email is in english, fast, beautiful and rich in functionality. Including notification!
But ... are they reliable?
I would not discover my bank account empty...

Just wondering why you would get e-mails from your bank?

Are they e-mail alerts for debits/credits to your account, or something else - regular correspondence?

I get occasional e-mails from my bank, but they are mainly because they want to sell me another one of their products.

I get SMS alerts to my 'phone for debits/credits to my account - that's good enough for me.

I have 2 banks. My banks do not send free sms, only for a fee.
They send me email when there are alarms (debit/credit) or deadlines.
Or when I change the bank (often) send me a contract with all my data.

As for reliability, Yandex and Hushmail both are long term and financially stable company. Yandex is the 'Google' of Russia, and Hushmail is the leading (highest user-base) encryption/privacy concerned email service from Canada.

If you have Yahoo Mail, and log in to Yahoo Messenger while at work (on the same Yahoo ID), then Yahoo Messenger is supposed to notify you when you get new mail (or at least it did for me when I tried it). It's not notification by email, as you asked for... but it's a notification (although I can't remember if the new mail indicator stays on the screen or is transient). Also, Yahoo Mail now offers HTTPS for its webmail interface, in case you're concerned about the security of the webmail session.
