I've been using FastMail for a few months and I've loved the service! It really is fast compared to anything I've ever used. Thanks for providing such a great service!

FastMail is the "only" email service I have ever "paid" for. That says it all.

Yes Mme! (Mlle?)
I'm with you there 100% Sherry!
Dan + M - looking up at a few of the previous threads some complain that even if they don't share their Fastmail address with anyone they still receive spam. How's that possible? - first of all, never a message to a group of people on your list unless you BCC it. - second, I believe that no matter how careful we are our email address will always be found sooner or later. I believe there are software programs out there that just send emails with random names (including numbers) at different addresses. When they find out you answered their message or even opened it, they then send you more. - third, once people find your email address, they can add it to a list of active accounts, put it on a CD and then sell it. Yes! There are nerds who do this. I sent an example of this to Jeremy the other day. What can I tell you? It's just sad to see this. |

GREAT!!
I have this problem where I automatically get dissatisfied with an email provider after 2 months. But I have been using FastMail for 6 months now, and I am still amazed with the service.

Happy anniversary to me!
Today (25 February 2003) is the first anniversary of my discovering, and signing-up for, Fastmail.FM! I've loved the service from day one, which is why, when I rejoined emaildiscussions.com the following day, my chosen user ID ended with "@fm".

Good customer service
I have only been a fastmail.fm user for approximately a week now, but I am already impressed with the service. While I definitely like the interface and the features that it provides for power users, so far I am most impressed by their customer support.
For the sake of brevity I won’t go into the particular details, but needless to say their excellent customer support solved my problem. In particular, Rob the webmaster went out of his way to quickly help me. A week ago, when I was looking through the e-mail discussions website, the community here really helped me with my decision. I hope that my positive comments about fastmail will help others with theirs. -Paul C. |

the ultra-super-fabness of fastmail is indescribable; i absolutely love it!
so much space...so little spam (well, none, in fact, that isnt from my hotmail account)...and i can be me or my alter ego any time i please with just a click...and there's never an ad in my face...how lovely... which is why, of course, i end every email with: ~~ ditch hotmail; try http://fastmail.fm    `^ ^´ "\(|) (|)/"  ``\ Y /´´    ` ^ ´ ciao, y'all, kristina the impossible |

Testamonial for fastmail
Guys,
Previous to FastMail, we were using Onebox. Which was OK. Then I discovered FastMail... We run our whole company via FastMail. We have staff in 10 countries accessing it simultaneously. We LUV the "bounce" feature, and the spam & porn filters are excellent, and actually work. Don't waste your time with other inferior web based email providers! Renewal Time
With renewals comes the decision, do I renew or not? There's no question, of course I will. Although I've had downtime and a few glitchy problems over the year, I've had much fewer problems here than with my cable modem e mail accounts, but the biggest difference is that the response time here is terrific, both through this forum and through personal contact via e mail, and the response time with the 'other' account is dreadful, with no effort or attempt at contacting me even after having had e mail issues that lasted not hours but days.
Great job J&R. Michael |
