[WAP] Are you able to use it?

Hello,

I have been trying to use wap.fastmail.fm today and I cannot login.
I always receive the following error:
Quote:
Warning: imap_open(): Couldn't open stream {mail.messagingengine.com:143} in /var/www/wap2/functions.php on line 142
ERROR: Can't connect: IMAP Authentification cancelled
I double checked my password and also tried creating a very simple alternative password but I receive the same error...

any idea?

Thanks
Ludo

Hehehe....using my iPhone, I can't access wap.fastmail.fm. Safari shows me the pages sourcecode instead of the login page

Regards,

Using Opera on WinXP, I have the same problem. I can enter my username and password fine, but the next page says:
Quote:
Warning: imap_open() [function.imap-open]: Couldn't open stream {mail.messagingengine.com:143}INBOX in /var/www/wap2/functions.php on line 142
ERROR: Can't connect: Can not authenticate to IMAP server: Username not found or password incorrect. Please check that the username and/or
(it really does end with and/or)

Can you try "wap.messagingengine.com" instead? It's a re-implementation of the server in Perl.

In Opera on WinXP, it just brings me back to the login screen (with my username pre-entered) when I click Submit.

Edit: Nevermind. I didn't enter the "@fastmail.fm" part of my username. Looks good!

wap.messagingengine.com should look better Even though it's just testing now. Actually, it will probably look almost exactly the same. That's what I'm trying for!

brong, I can enter password and username but nothing happens, though using SE P1i when this matters.

Do you get an error message, or does it just fail to do anything when you hit submit?
