proactive moderators needed - Page 3

Out of 13, only two 'active' moderators: Jeffk and ReuvenNY.

Many have offered to be moderators (over the years) but were never given a chance. Old moderators (who became inactive) were never removed.

That's the way these forums have always worked.

I think this is a very civilised and peacefull forum....so I guess 2 moderators are enough to do the job.

Indeed, JeffK and ReuvenNY are to be lauded for their efforts to keep this forum spam free.

But I wonder if they feel like they've been left behind with just a clip of ammo and a packet of smokes!

I log in here every day. While I do see and occasional . I certainly don't see a 'huge' problem with it. Perhaps it is a timezone thing and they are all cleaned up before I log in.

I think the moderators are doing an excellent job.

Has anyone checked to see if the site is free of malware or security problems? If there are few active moderators then one also wonders if other forms of maintenance are happening also. I should emphasize that I have no specific reasons to raise concerns.
