Free POP3 provider that allows custom FROM: address

Greetings.

I'm looking to move my parents over from a RoadRunner e-mail address to a free POP3/SMTP solution. I have my own domain through Tuffmail. I setup a forwarding address of theirname@mydomain.com which routes to their RoadRunner e-mail. On the Outlook client side, I set the FROM: to theirname@mydomain.com and it works fine.

However, I signed them up for a free account at Lavabit and it does not allow a custom FROM: address when using their SMTP server. I am looking for free solution, hopefully one you have experience with, where you can use a custom FROM: address on their SMTP server.
