Fastmail did hire in the past a member of these forums as a UI designer. He started deigning an alternative UI in this old thread, long before he became a Fastmail employee. (One can also see in the OP of that thread a suggestion for a more sensible implementation of labels, without trading the folder tree structure. Sadly, this path was not taken).

It says:

• simpler interactions so less technical users can benefit from our advanced tools

Thanks. Any idea how to use Gmail new fonts with fastmail. Gmail just updated their interface with new fonts. I like the fonts. They seem clean.
