Bypassing the trash bin is also fine with me. I think not mixing spam and normal messages is a good idea as well.
The only idea I didn't like was filtering new spam to the trash bin. I can quickly scan down the list of messages in a spam specific folder to check for false positives. If it was mixed in with normal messages my job would be more difficult. |

Agree with AGSHender on this one. I'd like the empty button to permanently delete them. If all I wanted to do was move them to the trash, I can already do that with 2 clicks (select all - delete). An empty link on the spam folder would take it from 3 steps (select all - delete - empty trash) to one (empty spam).
Geir, still interested in adding this?? --Jason |

You can do it with my Runbox Toolbar 2 (RBTB2) in at most 4 clicks:
Click on the Spam Folder RBTB2: List All RBTB2: Select All RBTB2: Delete Permanently OK .. 5 clicks if you count the "Are you sure?" prompt before permanently deleting everything. And this would work for any folder. Sorry only works for IE, Mozilla, Firefox and some versions of Opera. Regards, Rich |

You know what would be SUPER cool??
An "empty" button on the Spam folder! Seriously, how cool would THAT be? I don't what made me think of it, it was like some sort of a vision or something . . . --Jason |
