I am a stay-at-home mom and my home desktop computer is the only computer I ever post from. I live in a very active Kid ZONE, being the mom of five great kids! I live in Ontario, Canada. When I look out the window I see snow and it is cold!

We have other computer's in the house as well; but I only use this one myself, and sometimes my kids go on this one for school work, as this one has the printer/scanner hooked up to it.

The weather has GONE crazy here in Texas. Here is my snow in Dec 2009 and Feb 2010. We had 12.5 inches of snow at DFW Airport (close to my house) in 24 hours a week ago!

Soon enough it will be summer and everyone will be complaining how hot they are! Our kids can hardly wait for summer vacation, which is still 4 months away. Then we can barbeque some steaks and give the neighbour's dogs a BONE or two, which they always enjoy.

In my place there still is a lot of snow on the ground, but it's melting rapidly: the sun is shining and there is not a LONE cloud in the sky

Well... I didn't know the answer so I looked it up and the company Breyers apparently does use Pure Cane Sugar. Chapman's; a very famous Canadian dairy always prides themselves on using "100 % Canadian Dairy for an incredibly indulgent flavour" and it is very delicious. I know that much from personally eating it lots of times!

Chapman's seems to use this 100% Canadian Dairy as a BASE for their icecream products. From my reading on the making of icecream, I keep seeing Cane Sugar mentionned and I am thinking that perhaps most dairies are using that for the traditional icecreams, but I am not totally sure.

This Chapman's company makes a wide variety of frozen treats, including Lactose-free icecreams, Frozen Yogourts and various popsicles, and so forth, as well as many different flavours of icecream.

BABE, you're singing my tune. I work for a frozen yogurt company who also owns ice cream brands and restaurants. You'd figure I know the answer, but on our ingredient list, it shows simply "sugar."

The bare naked truth is that variety is the spice of life and that manufacturers never give away trade secrets.

I could go for a nice dark lager BREW and ice cream right now. Has anyone tried an ice cream float using beer?

I haven't tried that personally; Bill, but perhaps after a long day of paving highways, a Construction CREW or two has tried that as a relaxing drink after a hard day's work.
