I'm not yet entirely happy that the site is robust enough for opening to the public. It's not far away but I feel it would benefit from a little more testing. I have therefore moved the opening date back to 20th October.

The mail server program seem very clever. I use
mail.pumapost.com for pop and notise no problem.

Should I switch to pop3.pumapost.com also then?

Yes, please use pop3.pumapost.com for pop3. mail.pumapost.com does currently work but will cease to do so soon.

I'm using IMAP so I can delete emails faster and sort them easier. Then I'll do POP3, but until I can delete the emails I need to delete (its complicated) I'll be using IMAP. Will the settings for IMAP be pop3.puma?

I saw that, but someone said the settings wouldn't be mail.pumapost.com anymore?

Yes. Graeme said he would be phasing mail.pumapost.com out (eventually)

When I went to promptpost, it of course sent me to pumapost. After trying to login, it kept telling me I didn't have an account. So, I figured that's the way I'd let it be. I'll consider myself as having no account, and leave it that way.

If you were a PromptPost user who was used to logging in with just the "local-part" of your email address you''ll find that you now have to use your full email address as your login username on PumaPost.
