Where's the Action

Curious as to why this forum is so quiet. Are Runbox users just so very content with their email service? Is there an overall, general disinterest? Is everyone just too busy?

It's always interesting to read what other Runbox users are experiencing. So how's it going?

The Runbox staff is at least very busy with development, server replacement and support!

Last week we added a new backup system with ZFS-storage and that will give us the possibility to give users snapshots and act as production storage if the main storage systems go down. We also tripled the capacity for backup.

We have come a long way in our disaster recovery measures and are moving on to replacing and improving server setup.

And the development of RMM6 is coming along. We are currently working on bug fixing, account management and working on deployment scripts that will enable us to deploy a full setup with a single click and then roll back with another click if things go wrong

I think you should invest some time in posting news like this to your development blog.

Yes, we have plans for that. We have several drafts we are working on

We really need to update a lot of the content everywhere. One of those projects will be much better Setup Guides and hopefully more video.

We'll have that, and many other things, fixed in Runbox 6 which we'll have in beta testing in a couple of weeks!

Great responses and information. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to RMM6. Ditto the question about what new features to expect.

The main thing is a updated platform and new deployment systems that will enable us to develop and implement much faster and smarter.

The most visible changes will be tags and changes to account management.
