Ctrl-M mail body formatting broken

This is happening right now. The whole web UI seems fine, but if I try to format my text with ctrl-M, I get an error pop-up at the bottom Could not connect to server. Curious if anyone else sees it. I'll submit a support ticket as well.

I rarely compose in plain text mode, so I do not use Ctrl-m as part of my workflow.

The behaviour you describe is pretty odd. I even wonder if something other than FastMail is intercepting that keyboard sequence. Are you using an unusual browser, or a browser extension that might be the culprit?

Yes, it appears that this feature is not currently working. I get the same error you see both in the Compose and Notes edit screens. I'm not sure how long it has been missing.

I use this feature on every single message I edit.

This bug appeared yesterday and has not been fixed yet.

I opened a ticket to support 10 minutes ago.

Looks like they are making changes on web interface on regular basis and not testing properly.

I do, too. We must be crusty old-timers

Looks like it's fixed now, as I'm sure you discovered. It would be nice if they could be more careful not to break things when developing new features
