Share some advice on premium e-mail providers...
Hi,
I hope to gain some quality advice. I'm looking for an email provider for my own domain. The email is personal, so traffic is not enterprise grade. What I need in an email: - a company with a proven track record and not a one-man show - good and active support - sane privacy aggreement - servers located in Europe is a must (because i live here) (Zoho and Fastmail are out of contention) - opensource webmail is a +, but not a prerequisite - affordable pricing (up to 30-35 euros annualy for a 5GB) What I have tried: Runbox: pros: -very good and fast support, the ticket system is awesome -Norway servers -great documentation -price point cons: -very clunky and dated webmail, pretty buggy too on my end. things don't scale properly, text is overlapping on aero bold etc. Tutanota: pros: -great philosophy, enthusiasm - pricing - german servers cons: webmail is very much a work in progress. I mean, it doesn't even show unread emails in folders, so it's pretty much useless for someone who's using many folders. Any other providers that fit the bill? I would prefer a business who's core is e-mail, not a byproduct of a server company. Thank you very much for your help. |

I currently have been using freenet's premium mail, it's pretty good, with a nice webmail and mobile app. https://email.freenet.de/classic/index.html |

I am using Exchange Online Plan 1. It is quite good, supports calendars, contacts, tasks and notes.

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestions. Mailbox.org looks very interesting, MS products are not my cup of tea. Anybody tried out Mailfence? Any experience? My only secon guess is because they haven't been around all that long. I've had two mail providers go dead on me (myopera and lavabit) and don't want to go through this again. |

Wow, thank you for your personal response. Will take it for a run, and I hope I'll find a place to stay permanently.
