Most (all?) email services have a way to import contacts lists exported as .csv files from other services or directly from a limited selection of other services (e.g., gmail, outlook, etc.). So look for the import contacts function in AOL's contacts (note, if it's anything like Yahoo's you cannot import a .csv - go figure).

I logged in to my AOL account. On the AOL Mail page to the left under the little window that show folders, there is a tab to the left when you hover over it, I says "Quick Contacts", select that. It tells me "Your contacts list is empty.", which it is. If you select the Quick Contacts a drop down appears, select Open Full Contacts. A contact list will show to the right (Mine is empty) From the More drop down you can select Import. It accepts CSV files for import.

Hope this helped.
