Torn between Fastmail and Runbox.

I have been with fast mail for over 8 years now. I am still using one of their legacy plans that don't allow a custom domain. I recently got one and would like to use it. I have been torn between fast mail and runbox. I emailed Fastmail support to see if I could get a bit of a discount and they gave me a 20% for a year. Runbox on the other hand has amazing support but everything else about it seems a bit bland including its webmail interface.

Any experiences with either service or other advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

There is a new Runbox web interface undergoing beta testing by volunteers from the existing customers.

As far as I'm concerned, I can quite happily live with the current one.

What made you pick Runbox over FM?

Various broken promises by FM. See numerous (oldish by now) threads in FM subforum.

Are you sure? The new interface is still in beta...
As far as I know, you sign up for trial with the current interface, and then you may joint the beta testers group, though I'm not sure if those on free trial are allowed to.

Ok, I stand corrected...

Does it mean you are free to publicly discuss/praise/criticise the new interface ? If so, you are less restricted than the testers, who are supposed to keep mum outside the dedicated forum.

It was a regular account instead of Trial acct I signed up for a MINI acct. I saw no restrictions about discussing features
