An email client or email web interface is as utterly boring software. It's there for the sake of the content, which might be interesting (or profitable.)

When a workaday tool is tarted up to look like a work of art, and looses usability on the way, you have a problem. Time to look in another toolbox.

I think what he means is the new Opera U.I needed a lot more development before it was introduced, I assume the back end must be OK but the cosmetic side is Nerdy....and I am upset with myself that I purchased 2 x 5 years before they introduced it.

Thank God we have the classic....

Perfectly acceptable English expression that may be used in polite society: I am a native speaker and used it precisely.

Hmmm, I forget that some words are "bad" in some societies, but other societies can mean something entirely different.

So sorry,
Mike

Thank you for the clarification, "spot on." I was confused, where I come from in the US it wasn't clear if you were referring to the popular breakfast food (Pop Tart) or a tasty treat (Sweet Tart).

Ah! Don't you love the differences between British and American English?

Look at the British definition of "knock up" here

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/knock_up

We could say that new Fastmail was "knocked up" in sense 1 above; but other senses might apply.
