Not receiving mail from yahoo
22:10 est 02/03/2005
username:cairns My quota is no where close to being reached according to the email I received, and these are individual mails, not from groups. Come on guys, lets get with it. I'm trying to be patient, and I know you're all working hard, but it's getting hard to depend on this for my mail. |

In the past 24 hours there have still been delays from 2-16 hours in recieving mail. The mail is accepted by Runbox mail servers but then queued for processing at Runbox. You can see the results of my Runbox Mail Monitor.

Hi Rich,
I sent 3 emails to myself last night. 1 Gmail 1 Hotmail 1 Yahoo The first two were received perfectly (albeit a little slowly), but I never received my yahoo email. It has still not arrived as of 0900 est. Nothing was bounced back to my yahoo account. Note: Edited for grammar :P Last edited by Gnome : 4 Feb 2005 at 10:32 PM. |

If it didn't bounce back then either (1) it couldn't get delivered to Runbox yet and Yahoo has queue it to retry delivery later or (2) it was delivered to Runbox and is delayed in the the Runbox queues. I'm betting it's (2).

My Yahoo message came through right away. So maybe it was (1) and you'll get it later when Yahoo retries delivery. You can always look at the headers to see when it passed through the different servers.

I tried a test from Yahoo too. Virtually instantaneous.
