pop link retrieval interval

The minimum interval between pop link retrievals is now 1 hour. This is far too long for one who is trying to keep up with e-mail on a site whose messages are retrieved via pop. 10 minutes would be good, but even half an hour would be better than an hour. A less satisfactory but acceptable substitute would be a way to manually initiate a pop link retrieval.

I think you'll find it's always been 1 hour for Enhanced users.

Also, you can manually initiate a retrieval, but only from the defunct interface.

Well, it's working, in an unfinished state, and with no obvious development. And, we all remember what happened to the other interface that was left in that state.
