I've been using imap.mail.yahoo.com with Thunderbird for a good while, but recently it stopped detecting new mail except when I restart Thunderbird. Pressing the Get Mail button, opening the folder, or using "check for new mail every X minutes" has no effect. I don't have this problem with Zimbra or Windows Live Mail, only with Thunderbird. I've tried using Thunderbird 3.1.15, 7.0.1 and 9.0a1. None of my other accounts have this problem, and running using Thunderbird's safe mode (all add-ons disabled) has no effect.
I created new accounts using the same settings except they used android.imap.mail.yahoo.com and zimbra.imap.mail.yahoo.com. They worked fine. Anybody else run into something similar? |

My Outlook 2010 Professional client on Windows 7 Professional successfully connected to Yahoo! mail via IMAP protocol. Great...about time.
