A new trouble!

Dear Sir/Madam:

I just find a phenomena, trouble, for my gmail.

It can not sent out emails such as the email to @yahoo.com

I check the reason, it says:

The response from the remote server was:
554 5.7.9 Message not accepted for policy reasons. See
https://help.yahoo.com/kb/postmaster/SLN7253.html

Could you help me!

Without seeing the email you tried to send it is difficult to analyze,
but it is most likely that the Originating or Reply To email address does not match the domain of the email server.

Email services are attempting to block the flood of spam emails coming in and one of the ways they are trying to do it is by making this identification. But often, it blocks legitimate emails.

Look at the header of your outbound messages and see how your email address, reply to address, and server address all compare.

To add more details, this is usually caused by attempting to send a message with a gmail.com domain From address using a sending email server which is not the normal ones used by Gmail. In other words, if you want your From address to be at the gmail.com domain, you need to use Google SMTP servers to send the message, which usually means you need to send the message directly from Gmail and not from some other email service or client. Look up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC at Wikipedia to see how many companies are preventing spam.

As I said, send messages directly from your Gmail account if you want to use a gmail.com From address. This is due to DKIM and related spam-reducing steps. Read more at:

Use mail-tester.com with the same email you sent to Yahoo and let it tell you what’s wrong.
