Minor New UI How To: Move open message to folder with one click/drag and drop?
Another great feature of the old interface...
How can I move the message that I am currently reading to a folder? Old interface: One click on the arrows next to the folder in the folder list. New UI: ??? I can see that there is a "move to" option above the message but the old way seemed so intuitive and worked the same way in the message list and when a message was open. And since the folder arrows in the message list have been replaced by the possibility to drag and drop messages I guess I am looking for something like dragging and dropping of open messages as well. Thanks! |

I just press 'm' and type the first letters of the folder name, but you're right that one would expect to be able to drag the header or something.

Sorry, but I don't have the time or the ability to remember a whole set of keyboard shortcuts specially as there's no aide-memoir mechanism in place.
Seems with every passing day that we're realising more and more of what's been lost. A very good interface has been turned into a turkey! |
