Is it just me, or is the Infinite Blackness one not displaying properly? The message list on the mailbox screen is white letters on white background..?

You know... I was excited to see the new 'sheets, but.... have gone back to Concise. Although I don't like the color combinations in Concise very much, it is "denser" than the others in terms of not having as much space between items in (for example) the mailbox screen (what I believe typographers call "leading" ). Why is there so much vertical space wasted in a stylesheet like Soothing Blues?
I guess it's all in the coding. As new stylesheets come out, I vote for making more of them "dense" in the sense I've explained. Much more pleasant to use that way. |

I vote for using the new interface's capability for separating the css definitions across several files and making an interface for choosing the style that can combine a layout that is more or less dense with different color schemes.

That's a terrific idea, hadaso - I agree. I think you were the one saying somewhere, earlier, that they could have done a lot more to make it easier to create and share style elements, particularly to benefit the less-techy... this one would be an improvement in how elements can be combined. This is an area where FM could really do something extraordinary, perhaps even unique on the web, if they made UI customization as powerful (including in terms of ease of use) as it can be.
